PONSONBY CLUB. At the annual meeting of the Fonsonby Rugby League Football Club on Monday. Mr. K- Francis ju esiding, the report. as published, and als'o the report of the treasurer, Mr. L. Adam?. «ere adopted. Mr. Francis drawing attention to the improved position since the club had acquired permanent headquarters in the district. Assets were worth £488. Appreciative reference was made to the work of Mr. J. Arneil in connection with the control of the hall. Officers were elected as follow: Patron. Mr. A. Adams; president, Mr. F. Harrison: executive committee, Messrs. K. Francis, J. Armstrong, A. Barnett. F. IJelgrosso. I). Maloney: honorary secretary. Mr. M. Campbell; honorary treasurer, Mr. L. Adams: selector and coach, Mr. A. K. Cooke; club captain, A. Mclntyre. Twenty-three vice-presidents were re-elected. The patron, Mr. Adams, presented the Stuart Cup to the seniors, and the coach and selector, Mr. A. E. Cooke, accepted the trophy on behalf of the team. At a sulxsequent meeting of the committee Mr. H. Francis »a« re-elected chairman.

The Sheffield Six Foot Club, one of only two of its kind in the British Isles, held a travelling dinner which covered parts of Yorkshire and Derbyshire, lasting from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. fcach course was consumed in a different town or village, the whole tour extending to a distance of about 50 miles.
