Stoney, a pilot of Irish Airways, Ltd., completed a flight from Dublin to Croydon in 1 hour 25 minutes. The machine carried three passengers, and the flight was made at the rate of about 226 miles an hour, which is considered to be a record for such a passenger-carrying air liner.
