PRISONERS , CRIMES.

PRESENT TERMS INCREASED (By Telegraph.—Press Aiaociation.) WANGANUI, Monday. Two prisoner* from the Whakapapanui prison camp, Lindsey E. Garner and Albert Harris, Who pleaded guilty to breaking and entering McKee's store at Owhango and stealing cash and goods of a total value of £104, appeared in the Supreme Court at Wangamii to-day for sentence. They were each sentenced to 18 months' hard labour in addition to the terms they already serving. On a charge of converting to their own use a motor car belonging to the manager of the Chateau, National Park, they were sentenced to six months' hard labour, to be eerved In addition to the eentencea they were already serving, but concurrent with the 18 months' sentence ordered on the previous charjre. Evidence wm given at the Police Court that the two men were able to break out of the eamp at night and return again by the morning, their crime* being committed at night.
