tOSS OF FINGER.
When unloading a case at the Queen's wharf this morning, Mr. A. Stewart, an employee of Skeates and White, Ltd., had the second finger of his left hand cut off, the case falling back on hie hand. He wai treated by a St. John Ambulance officer and later taken to the Auckland Hospital.
