MAORI DOGS BLAMED.
FAKMIBW WnflEF LOIfZS.
WSAKATANE, this day.
Sheep worrying is at present causing considerable loss and annoyance to farmers in this district. Last week two farmers Buffered losses, Mr. Len Sisam having seven good ewes killed on one of his properties, and Mr. A. Kendall having five lulled and two badly worried.
Some few weeks ago Mr. W. Orr lost 50 ewes. Maori , dogs are blamed for the depredations, and there is little hope of recovering financial losses.
