COALMINE EXPLOSION SEQUEL
MELBOURNE, February 21. Although 90 miners are still engaged in a search for the last victim of the Wonthaggi mine disaster, no trace lias been found of «,he body. Nearly 300 men have been rendered idle by the disaster in "No. 20 shaft. They are to be employed on extra shifts in other pits. A strike which was in progress when the explosion occurred ended to-day, the miners accepting the management's offer to re-engage as a surface worker a trimmer around whom the dispute had centred.
