LABOUR .GAINS SEATS.
STRONGER IN TASMANIA
HOBART, February 21
As a result of the Tasmanian general election the Labour Government has been strengthened. All Ministlrs were returned and Labour gained seats in Bass, Darwin and Denison, and possibly Wilmot. Probable state of the parties is:— v Labour 19 Nationalists 11 Labour in the last Government held office by the vote of a Douglas Credit member.
