Coles and Broken Hills were both quoted higher, and Morts Dock moved up again with sales at 14. 6 and 14 9, and more wanted at the higher figure. Breweries were a strong class, Tooth's moving up to buyers at £2 17 3, sellers 3d nigher, while the Dominion rights were i quoted between in 3 and 10,6. A buyer came in for Auckland Gas at £10 9, but sellers retired to £1 1/3. i armers' Trading eased further, with a "P-Ie 4<l down.. at £1 3/. and a later mark.t I oetween £1 2 9 and £13 6. j Government stocks were rather quiet at about late rates. , Rising Market. Turnover increased later in the morning, and a good number of sales was recorded at noon, most of them showing rising values. The improved outlook for British shipping was reflected in a sale of Huddart. Parkers at £1 19/, a rise of 1.9 since November. New Zealand Breweries were active at £3, with more on offer at that price and buyers 3d below. Broken Hills and Mount Lyells continued to rise, the latter touching a new peak with business at £2 12 9. A sale of G. J. Coles was put through at £5 11/, a rise of 2''6. Bank of New Zealands made further improvement, buyers offering £2 23. Auckland Gas were firmer, and Amalgamated Brick (Auckland) sold freely at late rates.
