RAT CSAPPELL WINS PASCOE CUP.
FIVE-MILER WON BY RON TKINER. Four races were decided by the Auckland Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Cycling Association at the Western Springs Stadium on Silt unlay. A strong wind on the home banking delayed progress and made the last furlong sprints difficult. The results were One Mile. Junior (11 starters). —S. H. Beasley (160 yds) 1, H. F. Hawke (130 yds) 2, J. I. Walker (170 yds) 3, D. A. Smith (170 yds) 4. Time, 2.11 3-5. Two Miles, Senior (11 starters). —Gordon Patrick (scr) 1, Ron Triner (scr) 2, Jack Wade (scr) 3, G. W. Clark (110 yds) 4. Patrick came round the Held on the home banking to win by a«. length. Time, 4.31. Two Miles Pascoe Cup (14 starters). — Ray C. Chappell (140 yds) 1, Jim F. Archer (80yds) 2, L. M. Nicholson (1120 yds) 3, D. T. Riddell (140 yds) 4. Won by inches only. Time, 4.24. Five Miles Paced (12 starters). —Ron S. Triner 1, Les H. Dwight 2, M. P. Byrnes 3, T. G. Myuott 4. Time, 11.14 2-5.
