THE AUCKLAND CLUB. DOMINION RECORD TO C. SHAW. For the meeting of the Auckland Model Aeroplane Club on Saturday afternoon at Three Kings the weather was perfect for model flying and many tine flights were recorded, cars being requisitioned in many cases to follow fast disappearing models. A xpecial competition was held for Juniors not having won provincial or national honours. It resulted :—N. Dobson (2.52}) 1, L. Fellows (1.43 1-5) 2, L. Hooker (1.8 2-5).

C. Shaw was successful in breaking the junior tow-line glider New Zealand record with a flight of 28 4-ss.

The eliminations are now proceeding preparatory to the picking of a teanf of six models to be gent to Detroit this year to defend the Moffett International Trophy won by Vernon Grey of the Auckland Club.
