THREE WINS.

W. WHITE'S FEAT. MOTOR CYCLE CHAMPIONSHIPS. All thqee championship races held by the Auckland Motor Cycle Club at Muriwai yesterday were won by W. White, who was astride the machine on which A. Mattson won the New Zealand Tourist Trophy race at Waiheke on Anniversary Day. The beach was hard and smooth, enabling riders to attain high speeds. Results were:— AUCKLAND BEACH CHAMPIONSHIP. 500 c.c. machines. 10 miles. W. White (Velocette) 1 J. Dale (Rudge) .' 2 T. Crowder (Levis) 3 From a rolling start White jumped into first place in the first lap, followed by Dale, Crowder and Matthews, and he 'steadily increased his lead until in the last few laps he was able to slow down and still finish with a safe margin. Time. 8.20 3-5. BEACH CHAMPIONSHIP. 3.">0 c.c. machines. 10 miles. W. White (Velocette) 1 C. Buchanan (Velocette) 2 Only three riders started. For eight laps the issue lay between White and Perry, with the latter holding a slight advantage owing to his clever cornering but in the last lap his rear chain came off, and White was left with an e*sy victory. Time, 9.0. OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP. W. White (Velocette) 1 L. Perry (Velocette) 2 T. Crowder (Levis) 3 This was the most closely contested race of the day, and there was little to spare between the placed men. Time, 8.33. Touring Cycle Handicap, five miles.— W. Cronk (Velocette) 1. Making full use of his handicap, Cronk led from start to finish In a race that was very fast for ordinary motor cycles.
