AUSTRALIAN TURF.

VIQTORIA MEETING.

FUTURITY TO GOLD ROD. VICTORY FOR NORTHWIND. MELBOURNE, February 21. The New colt Gold Rod regained the limelight when after appearing to have little chance in the running, he brilliantly pounced on the leaders to win the Futurity Stakes at the Victoria Amateur Turf Club's meeting at Caulficld yesterday.
