BIRTHDAY GATHERING.
Mr, and Mrs. Burnett Jones, of Point Chevalier, entertained a large number of friends last week to celebrate the birthday of their daughter, Miss Dorothy Jones. The Gaiety Hall was gailydecorated with streamers and bright summer flowers for the occasion. The hostess received her guests wearing a frock of pastel pink lace and georgette, and the guest of honour wore a period frock of blue stiffened lace. Among those present were: Mesdames Simson, Ida Vincent, Tilton, H. Mann, Johnson, J. Forrest, Davis, Kelly, Wrathall, Lang, Larson, Ross, Misses M. Pilgrim, A. Fairhurst, L. Pilgrim and M. Tilton.
