TO-DAY'S TURF.

ROTORUA CLUB. THE FINAL DAY. Prince Rangi the Hack Cup. The annual meeting of the Rotorua Racing Club is being concluded at Arawa Park this afternoon. After rain overnight and showers this morning, the weather cleared. There is a good attendance, but the track is on the soft side.

The Opening Event. All the acceptors went to the post for the Farewell Handicap, and Tybalt, Triune, and Wait and See were backed in that order on the win machine, but Wait and See was favourite for a place, with Tybalt and Triune next in request. When they were let go Tybalt and Wait and See were slow to move, and passing the stands Rulette was in charge from Triune, Ureklaw, Tybalt, Tin Lap and Wait and See. Rulette was well clear of Triune as they raced along the back, with Tybalt and Ureklaw next. There was no change at the home turn, and Rulette went on to score by a neck from Triune, who beat Tybalt by threequarters of a length. Then came Wait and See, Tin Lap and Ureklaw. An Easy VictoryCalcutta, English Night, Modern Maid and Poker Face were best backed for the Tarawera Handicap, for which all started. Poker Face and Calcutta were together passing the stands from Killadar, Modern Maid, English Night and British Isles. Calcutta drew out along the back from Poker Face, Modern Maid, English Night, Miss Musketoon, Killadar and Erination. There was little change at the home turn, and Calcutta went on to win by three lengths from Poker Face, who beat Miss Musketoon by two lengths. Erination was fourth, followed by Killadar, English Night and Valpai. Detailed results:— FAREWELL. HANDICAP of £160. One mile. 4—4—RULETTE, br f, 3yrs. by Chief Ruler—Lucella (Mr. J. D.
