HEALTH CAMPS.
GOVERNMENT'S INTENTIONS. KING GEORGE V. MEMORIAL. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. The Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. W. E. Parry, intimated to a deputation to-day the Government's decision that there will be no State grants towards the cost of the erection of either memorials to the late King George or Coronation memorials in any part of the Dominion. He said the Government intends to concentrate its available resources on the national work of providing for the health of children and the creating of a fund /or the permanent establishment of children's camps as a national memorial to the late King George.
