POSTAL PROMOTIONS.
OFFICERS TRANSFERRED.
The following promotions in the P. and T. Service air announced by the Chief Postmaster at Hamilton: —
Mr. S. H. Mason, for four and a half years postmaster at Putaruru, to be postmaster at Taihape; Mr. J. B. Davis, postmaster at Piopio, transferred on promotion, to Featherston; Mr. C. F. Ste\ ens, for the past eight vears postmaster at Te Kauwhata, to be postmaster at Eltham.
