REGATTA AT KAWAtJ. The Itoval New Zealand Yacht Squadron will hold its annual regatta at Kawau to morrow. when.' races* will J or f" 5 * and second division yachts. The < ruisin? race to Kawan will start 'rtp King's wharf at 7 o'clock this evening, tlie first prize besng Admiral Blake s trophy. Tho course is from King s wharf direct to Kawan. finishing between Momona 1 oint and mark boat moored west-, keeping channel side of Sandepit beacon. The programme at Kawau to-morrow is as follows: —10 a_m., start of ladies" race; I.SO p.m.. start of naval whalers and cutters race (sailed by officers> : 2.15 p-in— start of iace for first division yachts (Goldie Cup) ; 2.30 p.m.. start of race for second division yachts (Berthon Barrel and Mr. A. K. Gifford's prize). A dance will be held at Mansion House. Kawau, tomorrow evening, when the skippers of the placed boats In the ladles' race will receive their prizes. Thirty-one boats will take part is the night cruising race, including the Vorewa. the schooner owned, by the Mayor. Mr. Krnc*=t Davis, which will be taking part in a race for the first time.
