Miss Nita Rosslyn, popularly known as the "Girl in Red," on account of her all scarlet uniform, now in the concluding stages of her great journey throughout the length and breadth of New Zealand, has received the news of her mdther's death in Moss Side, Manchester, England. The cablegram containing the news was a week old when received at Wairoa, it having followed Miss Rosslyn about from place to place, on tour. Miss Rosslyn's tour of the world is purely educational, as she is studying local customs, industries, songs and music.
