ENGINE STRIKES WOMEN.
WALKING ON RAILWAY LINE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Wednesday. When walking along the railway line about a mile south of Milton last night, Miss Phyllis Andrew, aged 20, and her aunt, Mrs. G. Patterson, were struck by the engine of the Milton-Roxburgh goods express. Miss Andrew suffered severe head and body injuries and was taken to hospital. Her aunt was only slightly injured. | The two women had been to the pictures at Milton and were taking a short cut home. i
