The latest weekly Exchequer return* show that the total ordinary revenue amounts to £565,174,741, compared with £5-5<j,566,538 at the corresponding date last year. The total ordinary expenditure ie £&4 - _\786,995, compared with £616,825,518 ;it the corresponding date in 1936.
