WHANGAREI ARRANGEMENTS
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, Wednesday.
The Hon. F. Langstone, Minister of Lands, is due to arrive in Whangarei on Friday. On Friday evening he will be accorded a welcome by the Whangarei branch of the Labour party in the Madeira Hall. On Saturday morning he will visit the Puwera Experimental Farm. Ho will also meet delegates from the Whangarei Chamber of Commerce and inspect the Kiripaka bush. Endeavours are being made to preserve the bush and the Government has already offered a subsidy of £1 to £1 up to £200. •In the afternoon the Minister will probably inspect thu Kioreroa Road, and receive deputations.
