WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist l»»u«d to the " Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south m Tauranga, •Uwhia and Hamilton:— Light to moderate southerly to south-easterly winds, with the weather fair to fine, and with cool to moderate temperatures. Seas, rather rough at first on parts of the west coast, but otherwise slight to moderate. The anti-cyclone from Uμ Tttmu Sea is now moving on to the Dominion, but the riee of pressure has boon greater in the south than in the north. FOR THE DOMINION. For 24 hours from 0 a.m. this day: The indications are for moderate southern**. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy waatner, but cool. The barometer has a rising tendency. Seas, smooth to moderate. HAURAKI QULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Culf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south-south-west, fresh; sea, moderate; weather, overcast and dull; visibility, moderate; barometer, steady.
