NAVAL VOLUNTEERS.
CORONATION CONTINGENT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.)' WELLINGTON, this day. • The following have been selected to represent the Royal Naval Volunteer | Reserve at the Coronation:—SubLieutenant. 11. L. Hudson, .of the Canterbury Division i. Leading Signalman Peter Peterson, of the Auckland Division; Leading Seaman Raymond Victor Berry, of the Wellington Division; Leading Seaman Frank Taylor, of the Canterbury Division; Leading Telegraphist Leonard -! Dan ford' Bewley, of the Otago Division! The men will leave by H.M.S.'Dunedin next month and it is intended that they shall form part of the contingent from H.M.S. L'eander, which, it is proposed, will consist of 50 officers and men. The Leander is due in New Zealand in August. TWO WAR NURSES. DOMINION SELECTION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. It is intended to send two Great; War nurses to the Coronation, one from each island. They must have been trained and registered as nurses in New Zealand. A special committee will submit the names of applicants to the Minister of Defence for approval, and the final selection will be by ballot.
