ON GRAFTON BRIDGE. CRIPPLED PENSIONER'S ACT. SAVED BY PEDESTRIAN. S.M.. when he pleaded guilty to a charge of attempting to commit filicide. Asked try the magistrate if he was a member of the Returned Soldiers' Association, Kricksen replied in the negative. "In his frame of mind the offence might be repeated, so I think he had better be remanded," said the magistrate in remanding Kricksen until February 5. Sub-Inspector Fox said that in the meantime the police would get in touch with Ericksen's friends and the Returned Soldiers' Association.
