DAIRY ACT BREACH.
UNCERTIFICATED MANAGER. CASE AS A WARNING. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Friday. The first case of its type in the Dominion involving a breach of the Dairy Industry Act was brought in the Magistrate's Court to-day, when the Omimi Dairy Company was charged with employing Morris Raymond Gale as manager when he did not possess a certificate, Gale being charged also. It was explained that the case had been brought to apprise dairy companies of their obligations, a heavy penalty not being sought. Gale had since satisfied the requirements for a certificate without difficulty. Defendants were ordered to pay Court costs.
