The weather was unfavourable for bo*th growth and quality, with the result that very small sales may be expected during February. Actual price alterations showed an increase of Yid per lb on commons, %d per lb on price broken orange pekoes, plani 8.0.P.'5, first classic broken pekoes and tine broken orange pekoes.
