The Onehunga Criekot Association has decided to suspend all matches in its championship competition until further notice, as excavation and levelling work now in progress at Waikaraka Park had encroached on the cricket fields, making play impossible. Unsuccessful efforts had been made to induce the Onehunga-Borough Council to grant the use of a new area at the western end of tlM' park. Secretary T. Cowley stated that arrangements had bee.n made for the use next Saturday of a -pitch on the Auckland Domain for a friyidly match between the Onehunga Covers and Old Buffers.
