FJANOg AS COCKTAIL BARS.
(Special.—By Air Mail.) LONDON, January 2. Nowadays people uee a piano either to support a radio or ae a sort of cocktail bar. This was the view expressed in London this week by a man who has had more than 2300 songs published. He is Mr. EiTward Lockton, who wrote "Because," which sold over a million copies, "Where My Caravan Has Rested" and "Until." "If a song sells 50,000 copies nowadays," said Mr. Lockton, "it is an enormous success, (n the old days you could eell 700,000. People don't I sing to-day.' :
