BEACH FATALITY.
CONCLUSION OF INQUEST.
The adjourned inquest was concluded last evening at Manurewa concerning the death of Clyde Neville Gillott, aged 13, a State child, whose body was found lying in a foot of water at Weymouth Beach on January 4. After hearing evidence the district coroner, Mr. T. F. Snell, returned a verdict that death was caused by a fracture of the skull by misadventure. At the time the boy was on holiday from Oamaru. and was staying with his foster mother, Mrs. A. M. Jones.
