CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. r>i Tt i ha . 8 Ji een , doub «"l whether the last J lunket bhjeld game this season between Canterbury and Otago, to commence at Uunedm on February 5, should be held, because of the outbreak of infantile paralysis, and the matter was discussed at a meeting of the management committee of the Canterbury Cricket Association tonight. The chairman reported that the Utago Association was agreeable to the Canterbury Association cancelling the dates previously arranged and substituting February 19. 20. 22 and 23. These new dates were accepted by the association.
The dates for the Canterbury Brabin Cup match against Wellington, which Were previously February 8 and 9, were also altered because of the epidemic, and the game was set down for some time in March, to be determined.
