BARE FEET.
"Just a little correction concerning letter, of "Ex-Xurse" in Tuesday's paper. ."One part of the letter stated that many men. were unable to go to war owing to their flat feet, wjiich is perfectly true.. But "Ex-Xiiree'',nlsfr suggests, that this trouble was caused hv a bare footed childhood, which is wrong :.. Flat feet are caused through wearing the wrong, type of- footwear, : walking , in the wrong manner, and last but not"'.least. : through' spending too much of one's, life walking city streets. A "noted .expert onVthe subject once stated that, if every person'' suffering from foot troubles could go bare-footed on sand ; or grass for about, three ..mouths that, person' would be naturally cured. . I do not know, sufficient to.deny that bare feet encourages infantile paralysis : amongst children, but- I really.think that little harm: is caused, apart, from an occasional, cut or bruised toe. . . :: : -," MOVIETONE.-
