FATAL HEAD INJURIES.
MOTOR CYCLES COLLIDE. YOUTH'S DEATH IN HOSPITAL. The death occurred in hospital yesterday of William George Alexander, aged 17, factory hand, of 1, Exeter Road, Mount Albert, who suffered head injuries when the motor cycle he was riding was involved in a head-on collision with another motor cycle ridden by Howard Hallam in New North Road at 6.20 p.m. on December 29. Hallam was also taken to hospital. The inquest was opened this morning by Mr. F. K. Hunt, who adjourned the proceedings sine die after taking evidence of identification.
