The Duk£ of Kent arrived here for the wedding on Thursday of Princess Juliana, Crown Princess of the Netherlands, to Prince Bernard zur Xiippe-Biesterfeld. He travelled in? his private ' aeroplane, piloted *by Flight-Lieutenant Fielden, who was King Edward VIII.'s flight-master. Glorious weather is prevailing and is predicted for the wedding festivities. Queen Wilhelmina has granted amnesty to a large number of prisoners, including 1300 transgressors against fiscal laws. Others had their sentences reduced. Prince William of Wied, who was before the war ruling Prince in Albania and who Was to have acted as a witness to the marriage, has not been allowed to . leave Germany for Holland. German newspaper correspondents hav© been ordered to ignore the Royal wedding entirely.
