Mr. D. C. Fraser. of Auckland, left for Wellington last night. Sir George Elliot will leave to-night by tlie Limited on a visit to Wellington. Mr. F. R. Picot, director of internal marketing, arrived this morning from the South, and is at Hotel Cargen. Mr. D. L. Clayton, manager of the Kauri Timber Company, who reached Wellington from Sydney by the Awatea on Monday, has returned to Auckland. Mr. T. E. Clark, managing director of Amalgamated Brick and Pipe Company, Limited, will leave to-night by the Limited express for Wellington. Lord Balfour of Burleigh, a director of the National Bank of New Zealand, and Sir .Tames Grose, general manager of the bank, visited Hamilton yesterday. Mr. J. P. Moodabe, managing director of Amalgamated Theatres, Limited, and Mr. M. Sayegh. business manager, left for Wellington by train last night. The Rt. Rev. C. A. Cherrinjrton. Bishop of Waikato. who has been visiting England, has left London on the Moreton Bay. on his return to New Zealand, via Australia. Captain G. R. Thompson, who for the last two years has been in charge of the Salvation Army, Ponsonby Road, has been appointed to take charge of the Wellington City Corps. Dr. F. Kveton, Consul-General for Czechoslovakia in Australia and New Zealand, has arrived in Wellington from Sydney, and with Mrs. Kveton will make a two months' holiday tour of the Dominion. The Hon. H. ,T. Hyland. Assistant Minister of Agriculture, and secretary of the Cabinet of Victoria, and Mr. H.
