LAWN TENNIS.
PEBBT V. VIHCT. 5 BIG MONEY FOR THEIR MEETING. I NEW YORK, January 5. Advance sales indicate that the record sum of more than 50,000 dollars will be paid by spectators of the coming tennis match between Perry and Vines. A crowd of 16,000 is expected to attend. It is believed, that the Wimbledon attendance record is slightly greater, bat it is certain that never has so much money been spent to witness a tennis match.
