MOST DEADLY RAID. Working Class Suburb of Madrid Bombed by Rebels. LOYALIST ADVANCE IN NORTH. United Press Association.—Copyright. (Received 1 p.m.) MADRID, January 4. One hundred were killed and 300 wounded in to-day's air raid on the capital. It was the most deadly yet recorded. Seventeen 'planes participated, and the casualties were heaviest in the northern working-class suburb of Tetuan. A bomb damaged the Chilian Embassy. Loyalists have occupied important ammunition works in Eskualdun-j, thereby threatening rebel occupants of Getafe aerodrome, eight miles from the city. Government troops also advanced two and a half miles on the Santander front towards Burgos, capturing strategically important positions.
