WORK INTERRUPTED. DELAY TO VESSELS. The wet weather put a stop to practically all cargo work on the waterfront to-day, and the departure of most of the overseas vessels now in port will be thereby delayed. Lacklan, tanker, with bulk motor spirit from Palembang, is due at Auckland at 8 a.m. to-morrow. Narbada sails at" 3 p.m. to-morrow for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff to complete discharge of her general cargo from the East Indies. (U.vS.S. Co.) Matua, which arrived from Suva yesterday morning, sailed this morning for Wellington. (U.S.S. Co.) Sir Karl Knudsen, tanker, arrived yesterday afternoon from Singapore, with 10,000 tons of petrol and 1600 barrels of lubricating oil for discharge here. She is at the Western wharf. (Shell Co.) Karetu, with general cargo from Singapore and Samarang, arrived at Auckland this morning and berthed at the Prince's wharf. Her other ports of discharge are Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. (U.S.S. Co.) City of Manchester sailed last night for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete -discharge of her general cargo-from New York. Waaganella was dispatched yesterday afternoon with passengers, mails and cargo for Melbourne and Sydney. She is due at Sydney on Friday morning. (H.P.) Canadian Constructor, which arrived from Montreal on Sunday night, berthed last evening at the Prince's wharf to commence discharge. From here she is to go to Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin.
