CAR CONVERSION CHARGE. i TWO MONTHS' IMPRISONMENT. ' I (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Monday. Charges of converting a motor car to his own use, being intoxicated while in charge of a motor car, and of being an unlicensed driver, were preferred against Lloyd Thomas Sims in the Police Court to-day. The police said that the intoxication charge was only a borderline ease, but the conversion offence was serious, as the car had been wrecked !r. an accident, while being driven by accused, and the owner would be unable to obtain any insurance. On the conversion charge accused was sentenced to two months' imprisonment, and on the intoxication charge he was ordered to pi<y medical expenses of a ghinea. On the third charge he was convicted and discharged.
