When struck by a motor cycle in Ponsonby Road, while returning home from work yesterday afternoon at 5.15, a young woman, Miss Evelyn Hughes, aged 24, of 76, Hepburn Street, Ponsonby, suffered concussion, facial abrasions, and an injury to htr right hip. She was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance. Her condition this morning as satisfactory.
