LITTLE LAUGHS.
Smith: What is the best thing to put in a Christmas pudding? Jones: Your teeth, of course! > "Teddy," said his mother at dinner on Christmas Day, "do stop eating. How can you possibly eat so much?" "Don't know," said Teddy between bites, "I should say it's just my good luck." No one has ever heard the Christmas pudding ring its bells, yet the peel is always there. Little Mary: Is Santa Claus coming soon? Mother: Yes, dear, but why do you ask? Little Mary: I only wanted to know 'cause I was wondering if it were time I began to be a good little girl.
