I do not wish to criticise national' leaden in this or any other country; I realise something of their task, and I doubt if I could do it better—l am sure I could not. There is nothing to help us but perseverance, courtesy (in private as well as in international intercourse) and faith in God. If declamation could help we should have had the millennium years ago, but even ordinary people caul use patience, and prayer, and sense."- I
