PURE-BRED CATTLE.
INTERNATIONAL STANDARD. ROME. An international standard of family trees for pure-bred cattle has been agreed to by delegates of twenty nations, including the United States, who met here under the auspices of the International Institute of Agriculture. The standardised method of registration of beef and dairy pure-bred registered cattle is designed to facilitate international commerce in cattle. J. Clyde Marquis, American delegate, signed on behalf of the United States, with the reservation that, the American Government would not make it compulsory on cattle growers.
