ELLERSLIE RACES.

FROCKS ON THE LAWN. SUMMER CARNIVAL ENDS. In bright sunshine the last day of the Auckland Racing Club's summer carnival was held at Ellerslie racecourse today when a large crowd attended. The frocking was most attractive and the lawns were paraded by numerous wearers of outstanding models. A few ankle-length frocks made their appearance, but the majority were in more tailored styles with the short hemline.
