Ground Ready at Noon—Bate Commencement Made. The provincial cricket tourney organised by the, Auckland Cricket Association was resumed to-day at Eden Park. TU-luck has dogged the tourney, and owing to rain there has been only three days' play since it started on Christmas Day. It waa not until after 12 o'clock to-day that the ground was fit for play, and two matches were played on Nos.*4 and 5 wickets. POVERTY BAY V. SUBURBAN. A bright start was made by the Dow brothers for Bpverty Bay against Suburban, and in three-quarters of an hour before lunch they had put on 54 without being separated.
