At a meeting of the North Auckland Cricket Association management committee on Tuesday, W. Dunning: (Kodnej) was appointed captain, and G. L ; iajn<. manager of' the team to in tlie provincial tournament at linden I arK. It is proposed to hold the tournament in rotation at the different centres each year, and Northland is to make application for Whangarei as the next venue. Although Country Week is not being held this year tlie Auckland association does not propose to drop the fixture. Wliangarei's challenge to play Rodney for the Dargaville Shield on January -J and 30 was sustained. ONEHUNGA ASSOCIATION, ROVERS LEAD FOR CHAMPIONSHIP.
