FEILDING SALE DULL. (jjy Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) l-'EILDING, Saturday. The market in all sections at the Feilding sale was very quiet yesterday, the greater portion of the cattle entry passed in. Slieep values generally were down. The following are the quotations: — Fat Sheep.—One of the smallest yardin gs of fat sheep seen for many months was in to-day, the entry not being sufficient to attract attention of buyers and unchanged prices ruled. Choice heavy ewes, 25/0; average sorts, 22/ to 23/; others, 20/ to 20/10; medium-sized lambs, 21/(i; smaller, 19/2 to 20/G; best heavy hoggets, 26/4; unfinished, 24/3 to 24/6; light wethers, 24/. Store Slieep.—Unchanged . values ruled in this section, where *tliO'-yarding was not outstanding in either nuilibers "oi' quality. The market was not very active. Very* good two-tooth wethers, 27/; medium grades, 23/1; others, to 21/10; good two-tootli ewes, 30/1 to 33/; plain, 23/; black-faced hoggets,- 21/10; mixed-sex hoggets, good, 20/ to 29/6; pwes and lamb's. 17/ to 19/6; fattening ewes, 14/ to 15/6. Store Cattle.—There was quite a slump in the demand for run cattle, withs "which the market was well supplied. Some good cattle were included, but?more lines were passed in than were sold. Wellgrown two-year P.A. steers. £7%14/; good yearling P.A. steers, £6 17/0; large twoyear mixed steers, £8; fair sorts twoyear P.A. heifers. £5 IS/: good yearling P.A. heifers. £5 5/ to £5 14/6; best yearling Jersey heifers, £5 2/6: medium sorts. £4 12/6 to £5; others, £1 15/ to £3 12/6; boner cows, good, £5; others, £1 15/ to £3 10,/. Fat Cattle.—Run bred cow boef made the best sales in the beef pens, with some heifers also selling well. ' The sale, however, was not a very bright one for any beef. Light prime ox, £9 10/; heavy Hereford eows, £8 15/; medium heavy P.A. cows, £7 10/ to £7 12/6; best Jersey cows, £6 10/; others, £4 to £5 10/; good Shorthorn heifers, £8 10/ to £8 15/; medium weights. £0 2/6 to £0 17/0; others, £4 to £5 15/; vealers, £1 15/ to £2 3/; steers, £5.
