The T.vnndale Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club held an open meeting at New Lynn. Entries were particularly good, and some very close "inishes were seen. Won by a yard; a yard between second and third. 220 Yards Senior Handicap.—First heat: Sharkey, 12yds, 1 ; Bell, 10yds, 2 ; Clement, 23yds, 3. Time, 235. Won by a yard. Second heat: Houlihan, 21yds, 1 ; Murphy, fHyds, 2; Kogers, 23yds, 3. Time, 235. Won by a yard. Final: Sharkey 1, Clement 2, Kogers 3. Time, 22 4-ss. Won by two yards; inches between second and third.
