UNEMPLOYMENT.
DECREASE RECORDED. 3799 DOWN IN ONE MONTH. DOMINION REGISTRATIONS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. A further substantial decrease in unemployment in the Dominion is shown by the latest returns. On November 21 the total number of men wlioily or partly dependent on the Employment Promotion Fund was 42,341, a decrease of 3700 since October 24. The following table shows the position on October 24 and November 21 respectively:— Oct. 24 Nov. 21 Registered, but not eligible or not placed on relief 2,173 2,258 Receiving rationed relief work -Jt- 12.582 11,141 Receiving sustenance without work 24,301 22,06S Receiving full-time employment. wholly or partly paid from the fund 7,054 6,574 Totals 46,140 42,341 Compared with the figures for November 23, 1035, there lias been a reduction of 14,005.
