SCOUTS' EVENING.
EDENDALE GROUP. The boys of the Edendale troop and cub pack entertained their parents at a social evening at their headquarters, Balmoral Road, Sandringham. Under the leadership of Scoutmaster Dixon the boys gave an enjoyable programme ot campfire songs and games, in which the parents joined. A pianoforte solo by Scout Martin and a mouth organ solo by Patrol Leader Gear helped greatly towards the enjoyment of all. Presentations of watches for the best progress in work for the year were made to Scout Jenkins and Cub Cantley, also three special prizes were awarded by the committee to the best helpers, Scouts Cliff Naylor, Bert Davies and Brian Wolfgram. The evening was brought to a close by supper being served by the lady members of the committee, comprising Mesdames Froglev, Naylor, Woodhead, Davies and Wolfgram.
