FOOTBALL SOCIAL.
The Glenora League Football Club brought its successful 1030 season to a close when a grand presentation dance was held in the Delta Theatre, New Lynn. A crowded floor of enthusiastic dancers and popular music spoke success throughout the evening. From the stage Air. AlcNamara, the club secretary, thanked all members and followers for past support and introduced Air. W. Clarke and Air. Irani Stonex, junior board official. The special feature was the presentation by Air. Bill Hindman of the Endean Shield and the A.R.L. caps to the Glenora fifth grade team, champions of 1930, this feature being popularly received by the large audience.
